He was predeceased by: his wife Alma; his parents, John Griswold and Olive McDonald; his daughter Charlotte Alderman of Missouri; and his granddaughter Michelle Griswold of Colorado.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Lanterman (Chuck) of Dacono, Micheal Griswold (Teri) of Hot Springs, Gerald Griswold (Cheri) of Hot Springs and Sandra Johnson (Ray) of Dacono; and his siblings, Lloyd Mixon of Denver and Barbara Kloss of Independence. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
