She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy Nowicki (Gary) and Sharon Sakagawa (Richard); her grandchildren, Anten Sakagawa (Deborah), Shay Wright (Sarah), Taina Sakagawa and Cory Wright; and her siblings, Mac Inouye, Harvey Inouye (Leone) and Lorraine Martinez. She is also survived by four great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter.

She said, "Please do not send flowers or monetary gifts...just take me to lunch.".
