It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Rawlins of Trinidad, Colorado, born in Kansas City, Kansas, who passed away on July 5, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by : her children, Jeff Cotter (Peggy), Leslie Cotter, Brian Cotter (Jeanie), Claudia Trujillo (Hauch) and Chris Cotter (Sandi); her grandchildren, Courtney Cotter (Andy Gansmoe), Patrick Cotter, Hilary Cotter, Gary Rivas (Amanda), Kristina Zuniga (Matt), Greg Rivas (Gina Mantelli), Ashley Cotter (Holden Hanson) and Josh Cotter (Bonnie Carnesecca); her great grandchildren, Alyssa, Gavin Rivas and Aiden Rivas; and her sister Marilyn Murray. She is also survived by 3 nephews, 1 niece and numerous other relatives.

Her home was always the foundation of her family's gatherings and never lacked for activity.
