He is survived by: his wife Edith Meiggs Wombolt (Edie); his children, Christopher Wombolt of Vail and Kathryn Wombolt of King; his grandson Geoff Taylor of Richmond; his siblings-in-law, Amy Meiggs of Knightdale, Von Harrell of Knightdale and David Meiggs (Kim Carbon) of Elizabeth City; his nephews, Matthew Meiggs of Elizabeth City, Andrew Glascock and Mark Glascock; and his niece Hayley Schiebel of Boston.
