He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Leatrice Schafer; his children, Rhonda Schafer and R. D. Schafer (Sara); his grandchildren, Rendi Swift (Craig), Bret Musilli, Shelbi Kelly (Lance Smart), Casey Schafer (Kevin Baker), Zach Schafer, Laci Swift, Blake Swift, Kech Smart and Kynzlee Smart; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Schafer and Myrna Sharp.
