He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Nix; his son Scott Nix (Jody); his grandchildren, Kara Reese, Leslie Nix, Tyler Nix, Stormy Peeler and Hunter Wallace; his great grandchildren, Samantha, Alexandra, Baker, Kenadee and Travii; and his siblings, Erv Nix and Richard Nix.
