She was predeceased by: her parents, Vidal Benavidez and Anivez Benavidez; her daughter Wanda Hayes; and her brothers, Vidal, Arturo and Gilbert.
She is survived by: her husband Alfonso Lucero; her children, Victor Lucero of Walsenburg, CO and Anita Lawrance of Longmont; and her sister Carol Ramirez of Las Vegas, NM.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
