She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Butrick and Grace Butrick; and her siblings, Lyle Butrick and Helen West (Jim). She is survived by: her brother Lauren Butrick of Eau Claire, WI; her children, Jim Swanson (Luaine), Kathy Johnson (Eric), Susan Allen, Karen Persichetti (Joe), Tom Swanson (Lacey Goetz) and Carol Trovall (Carl); her grandchildren, Jared Swanson, Mary Hansen (Jon), Adam Swanson, Melissa Johnson, Chelsea Barnts (Lucas), Valerie Eberhardt, Daniel Allen, Julie Jorgenson (Brett), Jason Persichetti, Tristan Swanson, Aubrey Swanson, Elizabeth Trovall and Carl James Trovall (Hayley Mungia); and her great grandchildren, Angelina, Roman, Liliana, Jimmy and Ian.
In lieu of flowers, Betty requested donations be made to Shriners Hospital which took care of her brother Lauren during the first several years of his life.
