We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2021, at the age of 81, Douglas James Hammer of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, born in Oakmont, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norma Hammer and Sigmund Hammer; his stepmother Doris Hammer; his siblings, Mary Alice Hammer, Laura Inglis, John Hammer, Sigmund Hammer and Ludvig Hammer; and his pets, Gwendolynn, Jet, Kenny, Juneau, Dakota and Samson.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Murphy (Beth) of O'Hara Township; his daughter Megan Elizabeth Hammer (Joyce A. Rihanek) of Edwards; and his siblings, Kirsten Gardner of Chevy Chase and Paul Hammer of Zelienople. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
