He was predeceased by: his parents, Trinidad Pacheco Martinez and Pedro A. Martinez; his wife Katharina Lehr Martinez; his son Leo; and his siblings, Elizaida Martinez, Leocaida Trujillo, Anita Martinez and Benjamin Martinez.
He is survived by: his sons, Floyd, Elmer and Pedro; his grandchildren, Tonia Broussard, April Giles (Greg), Eric Martinez (Amber) and Aaron Martinez (Halie); and his great grandchildren, Ella, Nathan, Leo and Charlotte. He is also survived by his numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
