She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Zertuche and Patricia Zertuche; her husband Daniel Xavier Gallegos; and her brother Frank (Barlo). She is survived by: her children, Patricia, Laurie, Katherine, Daniel and Jeanette; and her siblings, Betty and Larry. She is also survived by five children, eleven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
