It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jason Vern McCarthy of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on February 12, 2022, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Philip, Blanch McCarthy, Vern and Maudie Lineback; and his aunts and uncles, Shirley Johnson, Peg, Joe Emerson and Bill McCarthy.
He is survived by: his parents, John "Jack" McCarthy and Shela McCarthy (Lineback); his pet Scooter; his sister Dionne McCarthy of Fort Collins; his aunt Karen; his uncle Steve Tool of Windsor, CO; his nieces, Hannah Sexson and Mena Cozzola; and his cousins, Monica Cavender, Anna Cavender, Rhonda Baumer, Jody Naylor, Cassie Cervone, Tonya Malloy, Bud Johnson, Scott Emerson, Sandi Hammons, Shari Jones and Stuart Emerson.
