With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Luke Schmieder (Wheat Ridge, Colorado), who passed away on February 14, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jude; and his brothers, Mark and Paul. He is survived by: his siblings, Carl, Leroy, Darlene and Lisa; his children, Jeff, Pam, John and Lori; and his grandchildren, John Luke, Sarah, Katie Weerstra, Anna and Eliza Burton.
Due to restrictions on gatherings during the Coronavirus pandemic, a small family mass will be said.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted at two charities that Luke admired, Seeds of Hope in Denver and St. Francis—St.
