He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ruth VanDyke; his children, Carol, John Overbeck, Lynn, Mike Van Hofwegen, Laurel and Darrell Olson; his grandchildren, Matthew, Curtis Olson, Melissa, Christina Overbeck, Katia, Sara and David Van Hofwegen; and his great grandchildren, Kody, Raimee Olson, Cedric, Quinn Olson, Zealyn Overbeck, Rio, Remy Bruxvoort, Miles, Levi Rusch Van Hofwegen, Luca and Ezra Van Hofwegen.
