It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ramona Peterson (Wheat Ridge, Colorado), who passed away on July 21, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ramona Peterson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Larvie and John Quickbear; her daughter Marlene; her husband Lester; and her siblings, William Quickbear, Clara Wright, Corrine Oliver, Thelma Sleeping Bear, Robert Quickbear and Anthony Quickbear.

She is survived by: her daughter Rosemary Peterson (Patricia Termin); and her grandson Michael Gustin. She is also survived by seven children.

Donations may be made to Sinte Gleska University, a private tribal land-grant university on the Rosebud Indian Reservation.
