He was predeceased by: his parent Merrell Gibson. He is survived by: his mother Alice Gibson; his brother Kenneth Gibson; his close friend Loretta Gibson; his children, Sherri Maxwell, Nicole Martinez and Richard A. Gibson; and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Julia, Logan, Abbygail and JJ.
