He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tersteeg and Elizabeth Tersteeg (Mysicka); his daughters, Paula and Susan Tersteeg; and his siblings, Jack Tersteeg and Jane Kascht.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Negen; his son-in-law Tom; his grandchildren, Joshua Betz (Christopher Brodine), Emily Betz (Tyler Gilbert), Aaron Oberndorf (Trinity Oberndorf) and Sara Oberndorf; and his brothers, Doug and Ronald Tersteeg. He is also survived by three brothers and one sister.
