He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Daniel George Henkel and Rose Florence Gale; his brother Daniel Larry Henkel; his children, Shay, Justin and Hollie; his son-in-law Jorge; and his grandchildren, Lorenz, Evangelina and Cheyanna. He was also cherished by his ex-wife, who had remained friends throughout raising their daughter.
