It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Venita Dokey (Wheat Ridge, Colorado), born in Crested Butte, Colorado, who passed away on September 22, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer James Dokey. She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa and Tammy; her son-in-law Shawn; her grandchildren, Scotty, Elise and Morgan; her siblings, Eve, Bill, Butch and Jim; and her sisters-in-law, Annette, Ann and Marilyn. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
