He is survived by: his sister Wyneta Clendenning of Pueblo, CO; and his children, John Simon of Hanford, CA, Gene Bird of Mountain View, CO, Vivian Prince of Charlotte, NC, Dona Schick of Lakewood, CO and Vickie Hildebrandt. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
