He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Wyatt Briggs; his mother Diane Obermeyer of Delta; his siblings, Scott Briggs (Jessie) and Charla Briggs-Neta; his father Charles Avery Briggs; his grandparents, Joe, Grace Goetzfried and Shirley Briggs; and his cousin Angie Goetzfried. He was also cherished by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
