He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Johnson and Nellie Blevins; his siblings, Betty Lydic, Joseph and Don Johnson; and his son James Dell Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Johnson of Whitewater, CO; his sons, Timothy L. Johnson of Anderson, CA, Paul O. Johnson (Vonnie) of Dayton, TN and Ronald L. Johnson (Louise) of Grand Jct; his sisters, Mary Jane Whitney (Lew) of Las Vegas, NV, Gertrude Jones of Suwannee, OK and Donna McAllister of Flora, IL; and his grandchildren, Ami S. Hauptman (Bart) of Redding, CA, Alisa L. Johnson (Pancho) of Grand Jct and Ryan A. Johnson (Emily) of Grand Jct. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
