We bid farewell to Lotus Young (Woodland Park, Colorado), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 7, 2025 at the age of 89. Lotus touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mileta Evelyn Scott (Scott Witham) and Leon Donald Witham; and her former husband Lloyd M. Young. She is survived by: her children, Lloyd Mark Young and Melissa (Kaye) Notestine (Robert); her granddaughter Jennifer (Rist) Burden (Chris); her sisters, Kathleen (Kay), Parkinson (Jim), Jennifer (Sue) and Brockman (Hank); and her half-sister Janet (Lee) Kramer (Mark). She is also survived by five nieces.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the High View Baptist Church (1151 Rampart Range Rd, Woodland Park, CO 80814).
The family requests that instead of flowers, gifts can be made in Lotus Young's name to either the Clan Scott Society, Mensa Society or League of Women Voters.
