She was predeceased by : her parents, Franz and Else; and her brothers, Ozzie and Arnold. She is survived by : her husband Rev. Robert Lee Miller; her children, David, Eric (Anne) and Angelika (Eugen); her grandsons, Luke and Alexander; her sister Erna Proctor (Lyle); and her aunt Matilda.

Memorials may be given in honor of Erika to St. John's Lutheran Church in Yuma, Colorado.
