Anthony Calcagni Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2021, at the age of 86, Anthony Calcagni Sr. of Ansonia, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his wife Barbara Gabriel Calcagni; his parents, Avenerio Calcagni and Seraphina Bazzano Calcagni; and his siblings, Bernardino Calcagni and Claudia Calcagni.
He is survived by : his children, Anthony D. Calcagni Jr. (Elaine) of Durham, William Calcagni (Beverly) of Seymour, Robert Calcagni of Ansonia and Laura Rauch (Robert) of Ansonia; his grandchildren, Mary Provencher (Jake) of New Hampshire, Matthew Calcagni of Durham, Virginia Riccio (Michael) of Derby and Samantha Tupka (Frank) of East Haven; his great grandchild Oliver Benjamin Provencher; and his sister Rosemary Musante (Joseph) of Oxford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic, the family has chosen to have a private funeral service followed by United States Army military honors and interment in Mount Saint Peter Cemetery in Derby.
