He was predeceased by : his parents, Edwin Cichowicz and Gladys Wickett Cichowicz; his brother Joseph Cichowicz; and his brother-in-law Tom Trombetta. He is survived by : his wife Virginia Shimko Cichowicz; his children, David Cichowicz (Shannon Kopp) of Danbury and Kimberly Cichowicz of Ansonia; his siblings, Suzanne Cichowicz, Debra Trombetta of Norwalk, Ed Cichowicz (Carol) of Norwalk, Dan Cichowicz of Florida and Christopher Cichowicz of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Alexia Skye and Carly Rayne Gerry of Ansonia; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Beerwa (John), Janet Lazarony (Bob) and Frank Shimko (Linda) of Southington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the social restrictions of the Covid-19 Pandemic, a celebration of life will be announced at a future date by the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia.
