Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Edith Mary Rose Diyanno of Ansonia, Connecticut, born in Derby, Connecticut, who passed away at the age of 100, on May 5, 2020. She was predeceased by: her husband Peter DiYanno; her parents, Nazzareno Fanesi and Amelia Fanesi (Bevilacqua); and her siblings, Marcino "Macci" Fanesi, Eulalia "Yolie" Vitello and Lena.
She is survived by: her children, Lucille Skorina (late Michael), Donna Kingston (Paul), Rita DellaVolpe (David) and Claire Whalen (John); and her grandchildren, Sticco, Jean Severson, Helen Madorno and Mary Simmons. She is also survived by grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid Pandemic a private graveside service will be held at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby.
