He was predeceased by : his parents, Salvatore Forgione and Evelyn Sullivan Forgione; and his siblings, Salvatore Forgione, Louise Forgione and Virginia Forgione.

He is survived by : his wife Joan Cappella Forgione; his daughters, Sherrie Ann Forgione of Ansonia and Christina Marie Forgione of Shelton; his sister Beverly Prodati of Hamden; and his pets, Chance and Brady. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
