It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Marino (Ansonia, Connecticut), born in Derby, Connecticut, who passed away on October 4, 2019, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carmelo Polizzi and Rose Caruana Polizzi. She is survived by: her significant other Gino Marulli; her children, Michael J. Marino Sr. (Crystal Massiello) of Naugatuck, Joanne Merritt (Howard) of Shelton and Lisa Marino of Seymour; her sisters, Joan Searles and Madeline Baklik (Andrew) of Derby; her grandchildren, Alyssa Marino, Nicholas Dennis-Vedock, Jennifer Vedock of Ansonia, Matthew Pratt, Nina Marino of Ansonia, Roger Pratt, Grace Marino of Shelton, Michael J. Marino Jr. and Marc Marino of Naugatuck; and her great grandchild L. J. Marino. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help defray expenses.
