He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph J. Michalak Sr.. He is survived by: his spouse Claire Ford Michalak; his parent Jean Lombardi Michalak of Shelton; his sons, Joseph J. Michalak III of Oxford and James S. Michalak (Lauren Shortell) of Ansonia; his brother Lawrence M. Michalak (Loreen) of Shelton; and his mother-in-law Elizabeth H. Ford of Stratford. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
