With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary C. Sheldon of Ansonia, Connecticut, born in Burlington, Vermont, who passed away on March 30, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Edward G. Sheldon; her parents, Robert Anton Voska and Rita Bessette Voska; her daughter Diane M. Gowrie; and her brother Sonny Denno.
She is survived by : her children, Steven E. Sheldon (Susan) of Naugatuck, Glen W. Sheldon (Robin) of Derby, Mechelle Redford, Spring A. Lewis of Ansonia and Thelma Shastokas of West Haven; and her grandchildren, Keith J. Mitchell III, Sarah Lynn Sheldon, Ann Marie Sheldon, Karen Sheldon, Daniel Shastokas, Steven E. Sheldon Jr., Nathan Rogers, Nicole Celeste Sheldon, Michael Sheldon, Amanda Gowrie and Joseph Shastokas. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic, a private funeral service with immediate family will take place along with inurnment in Mount Saint Peter Mausoleum in Derby.
