He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Vavkek Horoschak; his parents, Andrew Horoschak and Justina Machnicz Horoschak; his daughter Marianne Metcalf; his brother Walter Horoschak; and his stepfather Daniel Koltko.

He is survived by: his son-in-law John Metcalf of Guilford; his grandsons, Andrew Metcalf of Guilford and Matthew Metcalf (Kelly) of Silver Springs, MD.; and his sibling's children, Sandy Gillen (Bill) of Seymour and Norman Lanpher (Penny) of Springfield, VA..
