It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Blake of Ansonia, Connecticut, born in Woodbridge, Connecticut, who passed away on November 23, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her siblings, Lawrence, Jean, Marguerite and Carol; and her close friend Linda Stimpson.
She is survived by : her parents, Edwin LaBrake and Josephine LaBrake; her husband George R. Blake, Sr.; her close friends, Linda Lyman and Patricia O'Hagan; her sons, George Blake, Jr. (Diane) of Wheelock, Kenneth H. Blake (CT) of Middlefield and Kevin M. Blake (Karen) of Ansonia; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Melissa, Brian, Kelley and Lindsay; and her great grandchildren, Alexander, Paul Jr. and Lily. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the latest Covid-19 restrictions, a wake will begin at 10a. m. on Saturday, December 5th at St. Elizabeth Church in Lyndonville, VT, immediately followed by an 11a. m. funeral mass, concluding with a burial at St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
