It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Ann Zavalko (Ansonia, Connecticut), who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Theresa shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Theresa farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Zgola and Anna Zgola; her husband Richard R. Zavalko Sr.; her son Richard R. Zavalko Jr.; her granddaughter Nicole Davis (Zavalko); and her siblings, Anna Mae Tryon, Josephine Cyprowski, Tillie Huddy, Frank and Joseph Zgola.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Richard R. Zavalko III (Theresa), Ashley Kenyhercz (Alex), Jenna Zavalko (Vishak Kumar) and Rich (Theresa).
