He is survived by: his parents, Edward J. Hanley, Sr. and Catherine Hanley (Clark); his wife Frances; his daughter Erin F. Hanley of Avon; and his siblings, Thomas M. Hanley (Cheryl) of Glastonbury and Mary E. Hanley of Simsbury.
