It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Yokubinas (Avon, Connecticut), born in New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on April 26, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Yokubinas; and her parents, John Solek and Theresa Solek (Zajac). She is survived by: her children, Carol Stricklin (Glenn) of Waukesha, WI, Thomas Yokubinas (Eida) of Avon and John Yokubinas (Michele) of Terryville; her siblings, Walter Solek of Newington and Sophie Padova of New Port Richey, Florida; and her grandchildren, Ashley (John Yokubinas), Leonora Yokubinas of Milford, Thomas Yokubinas of Santa Monica, CA and Jonathan Stricklin-Coutinho (Jessica Stricklin) of Enfield, UK.
