She was predeceased by: her parents, Verne Hurd and Evelyn Hurd (Fitzmorris); her husband Fernand Joseph Fortin; and her son Thomas Fortin. She is survived by: her close friend Charles LaFlamme of Avon; her children, Daniel J. Fortin of Barkhamsted, Jason V. Fortin (Gretchen) of Fayetteville, GA and Diana Lynn Fortin of Bristol; her grandchildren, Jeremey Fortin, Samantha Fortin, Amanda Arnold (Fortin), Heidi Jones and Gavin Fortin; and her siblings, Lawrence Hurd of Southington, Rachel Raven of Unity, ME and Patricia Hurd Roy of Massachusetts. She is also survived by her many great-grandchildren.
