She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shockley and Elmira Shockley (Green); her husband William Zembower; her former husband Stanley Barnett; and her siblings, Edward Olson and Ruth Stephenson.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Barnett (Kris) of Simsbury and Brenda Transue (Tom) of Avon; her grandchildren, Mike Transue (Lisa), Kevin Transue (Jennifer), Connor Barnett (Janae Garofalo) and Meaghan Barnett; her great grandchildren, Delanie, Colin and Ethan Transue; and her nephew Phil Stephenson.
