He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Steck (Showah); his parents, Charles A. Steck, Jr. and Dorothy Steck (Denninger); and his sister Shirley Baldwin. He is survived by: his daughter Rachel Gross (Douglas) of Bethel; his granddaughters, Renae and Samantha Gross; and his siblings, Gordon Steck and Joyce Ferris. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
