We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2022, at the age of 90, Charles S. Griffen of Bloomfield, Connecticut, born in White Plains, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles R. Griffen and Mary Ellen Sherwood; and his significant other Prudence. He is survived by: his children, Ned Griffen of Pawcatuck and Lisa Griffen (Philip Papadakis) of West Hartford; his sister-in-law Priscilla Scharnberg; his niece Karen Brown (Andy Verderame) of Branford; his great-nephews, Jayson, Eric and Kevin; his friends, Barbara Durham and Kevin Ryan; and also, Dianna Polnac and Laura Sanders.
