She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ronald Benson and Eunice Benson (Coyle); her brothers, Robert and Richard Benson; her husband David Martens; her daughter Jennfier Dangora; her son-in-law Michael Dangora of Branford, CT; her son Christopher Martens; her daughter-in-law Stacey Martens of Kennett Square, PA.; and her grandchildren, Eliza Martens, Noah, Jacob and Hannah Dangora.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the "Closer to Free" fund at the Yale New Haven Smilow Cancer Hospital.
