She was predeceased by: her parents, Addington Sutherland and Lillian Welch Sutherland; and her nephews, Thomas and Michael Airone. She is survived by: her sisters, Susan Small of East Haven and Catherine Edinger (Richard) of Vashon, Wash.; her friend Eloise Middleton; and her nephews, Peter Airone (Cassandra) and William Edinger (Celess).
