He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Vegliante and Josephine Vegliante (DePoto); and his siblings, Neal Vegliante, Anita Lanzoni and Corrine Cheeseman.

He is survived by: his wife Michaelyn Vegliante (Szlosek); his children, Nicholas P. Vegliante (Sara) of Preston, Sherri Guidone (Jay) and Tina Vegliante of Derby; his grandchildren, Nicholas M. Vegliante, Cecilia Vegliante, Jake Guidone and Julia Guidone; and his sister Joan Panico of Branford.
