He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold W. Barber and Ellen Leeke Barber; and his brother Dwight Barber. He is survived by : his spouse Marieanna Wells Barber; his children, Melissa O'Brien (Jim), Kimberly Celotto (Paul), Philip Barber (Christina) and Jennifer Barber Proto (Steven); and his grandchildren, Caleigh, Aidan, Abbey, Kelseigh, Leo O'Brien, Skyler, Cisco Celotto, Rachael, Audrey Barber and Ava Proto.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the North Haven Garden Club, 12 Stanton Road, North Haven, CT 06473.
