He was predeceased by: his parents, Delia O'Connell and Timothy F. Purcell Sr.; his wife Anne Milano Purcell; his sister Dorothy Bowers; his brother-in-law Tex Hargraves; and his son-in-law Doyle Tarwater.
He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas Purcell (Anne) and Mary Hargraves; his daughters, Anita Tarwater of Canonsburg, PA., Nancy Purcell of Branford, CT., Sharon Purcell (Bob Naviasky) of Waterford, CT. and Cynthia Purcell (Rodney Winchell) of New Haven, CT.; his grandchildren, Daniel Iead (Emily), Caitlin Rose, Whitney Muska (Kevin), Connor Tarwater (Alicia), Annie Kell (Kevin), Lily Tarwater, Abby Tarwater, William Burhans and Nolan Burhans (Sage); and his great grandchildren, Pearl Iead, Adeline Muska, Josephine Muska, Leo Muska and Rowan Kell.
