Abigail Escalera Santiago Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 9, 2025, at the age of 58, Abigail Escalera Santiago of Bridgeport, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Abigail Escalera may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Abigail Escalera touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her parents, Gunersindo Escalera and Juana Rivera; and her children, Mónica Ropiza, Taisha Ropiza, Robert Ropiza Meléndez and Joey Ropiza. She is also survived by her extended family and a wide circle of friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Community Funeral Chapels (798 Park Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06604).
