As we bid adieu to Charles' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Charles has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

He is survived by: his parents, Stacey and Clay; his son Nicholas Mauro; and his siblings, Mia Mauro, Zachary Williams and Michael Mauro.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Humane Society.
