Emeline Bravo-Blackwood Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emeline Bravo-Blackwood of Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on July 30, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Bravo and Beatrice Thomas; her son Wayne Anthony Semoy; and her siblings, Ruby Grant, Lynue Chambers, Doralto Bravo, Thomas Bravo and Panton Bravo.
She is survived by: her children, Jules Semoy, Katherine Vendryes, Kim Vendryes-Martin, Danielle Bravo-Blackwood and Amire Larrequi; her grandchildren, Katherine Gonzales, Rakeem Semoy and Shaquille Semoy; her great grandchildren, RJ Gonzales, Ryan Gonzales and Aubrey Semoy; her pet Zoey; and her siblings, Esmin Thomas-Francie, Jennifer Bravo, Eileen Bravo, Walter Bravo, Christine Bravo-Wint, Lillieth Bravo-Whyte and Marie Bravo. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to a non-profit foundation Emeline had registered to help inner city children find a voice through arts, education, nature, and sports (The Wayne Anthony Semoy Foundation, if you so choose).
