He is survived by: his wife Raquel Santos Gomes; his daughters, Monica Gomes and Amanda Gomes; his siblings, Graca Gomes, Maria Eugenia Gomes, Ceu Gomes Casas (Joao), Maria Jose Gomes, Rui Jorge Gomes (Natalia) and Jorge Manuel Gomes; and his parents-in-law, Victor and Augusta Santos. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law and many dear friends.
