She was predeceased by: her parents, Benedetto DeLuca and Dora DeLuca (Tucciarrone); her husband Alan Sofield; her son John Yakubik; and her brothers, Benjamin DeLuca (Ponzi) and Cosimo DeLuca (Gus).
She is survived by: her son Gary J. Yakubik (Rachel) of Milford; and her grandson Jakob.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spear-Miller Funeral Home (39 S Benson Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824). A graveside service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (1056 Daniels Farm Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611).
